All our halyards come complete with a Parrel Ball to prevent fouling in the sheave, and a Reeving Eye to make mousing and change-out simple.
Select Full Cover Eye Splice for longevity, typically on cruising boats where chafe and UV resistance trumps weight and windage.
Select Stripped & Tapered for performance applications where weight and windage are paramount.
Select Premium Eye Splice for a full-cover eye splice in a Dyneema Chafe Sleeve tip, providing weight and windage savings whilst retaining the longevity and chafe resistance of a fully-covered line.
Select Short Eye for connection to shackles, hardware with a removable bale or Dyneema hardware. Select Long Eye to slip-knot your line to fixed bale hardware.
Polyester Chafe Sleeving is typically used as an economical solution for general purpose chafe and UV protection
Dyneema Chafe Sleeving is typically used for friction reduction, diameter reduction, chafe protection and UV protection
Technora Chafe Sleeving is typically used for chafe protection and increased friction, giving grip at clutches and on winch drums
Double Braid refers to "cored" lines with a cover. Chafe sleeving usually spliced on to form a "tip" in these lines
Single Braid (Unspliced) refers to using the chafe sleeve as cover only, without the extra diameter required for a splice
Single Braid (Spliced) refers to using the chafe sleeve in a spliced line, where extra diameter is needed
We stock cordage from International Rope Braid, FSE Robline, Marlow Ropes and Hampidjan, sold by the metre or the roll.
Select Single Braid for extremely high strength-to-diameter ratios.
Select Polyester-cored Lines for low-cost cordage where strength and stretch are less crucial
Select Dyneema-cored Lines for good all round performance, delivering low stretch and high strength
Select Vectran-cored Lines for very low stretch and high performance
Coupled Length refers to the internal stretched length of the soft shackle as it would sit under load coupled up.
Leg Diameter refers to the diameter of the component through the working part of the shackle, typically double the construction line diameter,
Select Uncovered models for a lightweight, low-bulk and economical solution.
Select Covered models for extreme strength, abrasion resistance and UV stability - either Type 1, with two independent legs through the working part of the shackle, or Type 2 with a single shackle leg.
Stretched Length refers to the internal length of the Dyneema Loop as it would sit under load.
Loops used in Basket Formation give double the working and break loads of a loop used In-line.
Select Uncovered models for a lightweight, low-bulk and economical solution.
Select Covered models for extreme strength, abrasion resistance and UV stability.
Stretched Length refers to the bearing point to bearing point length of the Dyneema strop as it would sit under load.
Strops used in Basket Formation give double the working and break loads of a strop used In-line.
Select Uncovered models for a lightweight, low-bulk and economical solution.
Select Covered models for extreme strength, abrasion resistance and UV stability.
Coupled Length refers to the internal stretched length of the dog bone loop as it would sit under load coupled up.
Select Uncovered models for a lightweight, low-bulk and economical solution.
Select Full Cover models for extreme strength, abrasion resistance and UV stability.
All prices include GST, delivery is charged at checkout based on product weight/volume.
International sales are GST-exempt.
Delivery within Australia is via Australia Post (either Standard or Express), and generally based on product weight. Many of our products are small and lightweight and either fit into a large letter or a 500g satchel to minimise shipping charges.
International shipping is via Australia Post or International Courier, whichever is more cost effective. All international orders are tracked.
